Mountain Jewel

Very Nice! Exactly as advertised. Located in a rural area of Wears Valley but very close and convenient to Pigeon Forge.

Mountain Jewell is a beautiful cabin, perfect for our 1st anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we were still able to enjoy the view of the creeks, hills & wildlife inside a gated community. The only downfall was that the water in the shower did not get as hot as we would have liked. The first evening back, the lock on the front door wouldn’t unlock at first which was a little scary, but it finally unlocked after 3 tries with the code. The hot tub was nice to climb into after a long day of hiking, but keeping it on heat was tricky. All in all, we would stay again. e would give this a 4 out of 5.

The cabin is adorable. The instructions to get to it were very helpful, cell phone service was almost nonexistent. Small warning, if you have dogs that like to walk a bit before going potty, there is very little flat area around the cabin. We ended up driving to the dog park a few times a day for them to walk around & do their business. The area was really nice & part of the reason we choose this rental. Overall everything was great!

Loved this little cabin! Very quiet and peaceful. The the cabin was clean and and had most everything we needed. Plenty of towels and washcloth for two people. Cathy was very accommodating to our request and had the cabin ready with only a 24 hour notice! Very pleased that it was in a gated community so we felt safe and was close to everything we wanted to do. We did use the hot tub one night but discovered the summer time is not the best time to get in a hot tub . Would definitely recommend for couples.

Cute cabin, clean, nice Location. There was a strong odor coming from upstairs bathroom. But I’m sure that can be fixed.

Great little place in a gated community with community amenities like pool and parks to utilize. Cabin in great for a little get away and has all the essentials for you. Hot tub and grill out back were great extras to cook dinner and relax in the evenings. The cabin is easy to get to, just 10 minutes outside Pigeon Forge and only about 30 minutes from Gatlinburg. Cathy was great, very good communication and had everything all set so check-in was easy. Very safe neighborhood and lots of friendly people. Would recommend for that little weekend getaway.

Easy reservation and check in process. Safe and secure gated community. Cabin and amenities were all working and easy to use. We enjoyed our stay.

It was nice for a quick get away but I wouldn't stay there past a few days. I kept picking dog hair off of my clothes the entire stay. Found food bits in the floor. Hot tub didn't want to work right. Like it was ok for a weekend but a full week would have been way too much.

As a whole the cabin was nice! It has some maintenance issues. It was dusty. They don’t move stuff to do dust. We couldn’t find a set of sheets for the sofa bed. The shower needs re caulking with clean caulk and the bathroom ceiling needs remudding. Otherwise it was great!
