Come for the spectacular view! It can be enjoyed from the hot tub, dining room or covered porch. only 4 steps from the parking area into the deluxe log cabin in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. The first floor has 2 king bedrooms, 2 baths - one on-suite, full sized washer and dryer in separate laundry room off the hall bath, 2 leather couches in great room (one with queen hide-a-bed), 2 seat recliner couch, gas fireplace with a timer and 37' LCD flat screen TV w/HD, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The loft above has a pool table, arcade game system and futon with linens. The third enclosed king bedroom with TV and DVD player and third bath complete the second floor.
You will find both Keurig and Mr. Coffee style coffee pots, some k-cup pods in different flavors, creamer pods, sugar and sweetener packets, also some snacks to start your stay. There is a basket of beach towels for the hot tub, hand pump soap at each sink, small soap packages, paper towels. 2 new toilet paper in each bathroom, dish soap, and dishwasher pods.
Relax on the long front porch which has a porch swing and rockers for a relaxing visit in the quiet and peace of this woodland log cabin.
A long gentle drive up brings you to the ridge with a great view! The log cabin sets on a fairly level area with easy parking for up to 3 cars.
The cabin is only 15 minutes from light #3 on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge and 8 minutes more from there to Dollywood. You will have 4-lane highway to the Pigeon Forge city limits then about 2.5 miles of good county roads to SHAGBARK with paved roads all the way.
The Shagbark Community has a 24/7 manned security gate with a texting system to keep guests aware of safety and helpful community information. You will find 2 common areas available to you at no cost. The meadow pavilion area by the creek has walking trail, dog park, playground, Frisby golf, tether ball, pavilion with picnic tables and a small putting green. Further along N. Clear Fork past the Community Center is the Shagbark swimming pool and large court with tennis, pickle ball, corn hole and basketball with equipment provided.

We have rented from Cathy for years and each cabin we've stayed in has been so enjoyable! This time we stayed at "A beautiful view" and it truly was! We enjoyed just sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs! We'll never rent from anyone else!
Our only frustrating thing was we wanted to watch a program that was on a local network and was not able to get the local network to come up no matter what we tried. Not sure if the instructions need to be updated or if we're just not that familiar with Roku. Would have just liked that to have been simple. We have already recommended a couple friends who are looking for a cabin rental.

We enjoyed the cabin very much, and there was exactly enough room for my family. We loved the quiet area and able to see the animals! It was unfortunate that the trees were large to see a good view of the mountains and there was electrical issues with some plugs and fans.

First let me say thank you to the owners for a great cabin at very affordable price. The cabin was clean upon our arrival and the name says it all. There is a beautiful view from this cabin. It is inside a gated community with paved roads all the way up to the cabin. Keep in mind it is on a mountain side so the road up to the mountain is a little steep which may be tricky if there is snow or ice on the road. We visited 4/3/2023 to 4/7/2023, we had a great time with our group. We had 5 adults and two children ages 2 and 8 and there was plenty of sleeping space in three king size beds and plenty of bathroom space in the 3 full bathrooms. Overall it is a great place to stay. Away from all the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge but only about a 15 minute drive to get into town. I would highly recommend this cabin for family or group stays.

Very nice place for family to gather and stay. Would have liked a bit more personal touch when asking questions about the stay. Did not receive answers to questions before the stay. Felt like we were in business process and there were no extra questions wanting to be answered by owner. Otherwise stay was fine.

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. The host was so accommodating when our plans changed last minute. The cabin was super clean, the beds were very comfortable, but the most impressive part for me was when we checked out, we were running a few minutes behind. The cleaners showed up and started on the hot tub. I was expecting them to just add some chemicals and check the filter, but she drained and cleaned the whole tub! That blew me away!
We will definitely be back!

Staying at “A beautiful view” is always a wonderful experience. The cabin is in the perfect spot for views with easy access. The owner is accommodation and pleasant to deal with and all the comforts of home are included! Everything is clean and kitchen is well stocked. We have stayed here for 12 years and always enjoy our stay! I highly recommend!

Cabin was very nice. We took our kids and grandkids on vacation and it was great for our party of 9. View was very nice. Cabin offered everything we needed. Hosts were very good to get back with us with questions we had before we even arrived and while there. Would highly recommend this cabin.
Cabin was as described. It was a little hard to find, but we arrived after dark. It would have been much easier had it not been dark. At the gate, we were asked for a barcode. Guard insisted that we had to have one. He finally let us in after we told him we gave our car/driver information to owner. A few of the dishes in the cabinets/drawers were dirty.
